Management & Rehabilitation of Neurological Disorders - Saturday, Sept. 8

This conference will focus on new and alternative options in the management and rehabilitation of neurological disorders, including movement disorders, stroke and other upper motor neuron syndromes. Bioethics Noon Conference - Wednesday, Sept. 19

The Center for Health Care Ethics will present its Bioethics Noon Conference on "End-of-Life Planning for End Stage Renal Disease Patients" on Wednesday, Sept. 19 from noon to 1 p.m. in Harvey Morse Auditorium. Lunch will be available at 11:30 a.m. Guest speaker is Bruce G. Barlow, M.D., clinical professor of the Department of Family Practice at UC Davis. (This conference meets the Pain Management End of Life Issues requirement.)

Informational Meeting on Medical Mission to Guatemala - Sunday, Sept. 23

An informational meeting on the 2008 HELPS International medical mission to Guatemala will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, in ECC-B. Anesthesiologists, pediatricians and primary care physicians are needed for this trip, scheduled for April 11 - 21, 2008. 3rd Annual Run for Her 5K Run and Friendship Walk - Sunday, Nov. 11

The 3rd Annual Run for Her, which benefits ovarian cancer research at Cedars-Sinai, will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the medical center. Proceeds benefit the Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Research Institute, part of the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. The registration fee is $35.
