Attending vs. Housestaff Basketball Game

Blues Break the Gomers Winning Streak

In a dazzling display of dodging, ducking and dribbling, the Housestaff Blues broke the Attending Staff Gomers' three-game winning streak last Sunday, May 20, to win Cedars-Sinai's 5th Annual physician basketball game.

It was the first loss for the Attending Staff since losing the inaugural game in 2003. The final score was 48 to 39 in favor of the Blues.

Marc Makhani, M.D., was named the Housestaff "Most Valuable Player," while Patrick Johnson, M.D., took MVP honors for the Attending Staff.
