New Warning Labels for the Use of PDE-5 Inhibitors

The FDA has received reports of sudden decreases or loss of hearing following the use of PDE-5 inhibitors Viagra, Levitra and Cialis for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and Revatio for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension. In some cases, the sudden hearing loss was accompanied by tinnitus and dizziness.

Most physicians do not welcome critical test result calls at all hours. So, working with the Clinical Improvement Committee, the laboratory revised some of the parameters to continue to meet community standards but decrease the disruptive calls. Our new test limits are within the ranges of what other laboratories consider critical.

Cedars-Sinai's 3rd Annual Race Raises $542,000 for Ovarian Cancer Research

More than 2,100 participants took to the streets surrounding Cedars-Sinai on November 11 to raise awareness about ovarian cancer and generate support for the Women's Cancer Research Institute at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. The 5k run and walk began and ended at the medical center.

Private Physician Office Staff

Employees in private physician's offices can view Web/VS with their own individual account. The benefits of allowing your staff to obtain Web/VS accounts are:
