Medical and Surgical Advances in Neurology & Neurosurgery -- Feb. 16-17

Bioethics Noon Conference on Caring for Risky Patients -- February 20

The Center for Health Care Ethics will sponsor a Bioethics Noon Conference on Wednesday, Feb. 20, from noon to 1 p.m. in Harvey Morse Auditorium. The topic is "Caring for Risky Patients: Duty or Virtue?" and the guest speaker is Tom Tomlinson, Ph.D., director of the Center for Ethics & Humanities in the Life Sciences at Michigan State University.

James R. Klinenberg, M.D., Symposium on Rheumatic Diseases -- March 8

This one-day symposium is designed to provide up-to-date information on how to recognize, diagnose, treat and manage common rheumatologic conditions. The course will be held on Saturday, March 8 at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach. Diabetes 2008: What's Hot and What's New -- March 29
