Interrupting a signaling pathway in macrophages in laboratory mice had the opposite effect researchers expected, but opened the possibility of a new approach to treating Alzheimer's disease, according to a recent journal article by a Cedars-Sinai research scientist.

Patient Memos

David V. Cossman, M.D., recently returned from a two-week tour of duty as a volunteer vascular surgeon at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. He followed 21 other members of the Society for Vascular Surgery who volunteered to serve at the military hospital.
