4th Annual 'Run for Her' - Nov. 16

Early registration for the fourth annual 5K Run for Her is due by Sunday, Nov. 9. Cedars-Sinai sponsors the event, and prizes are given for the fastest finishers in various divisions. Walkers are also welcome. There is $10 registration discount for all employees who join Team Cedars-Sinai by Nov. 9. Enter the code, CS2008, to receive the discount. Those registering will be entered in a drawing for a MacBook Air laptop. The Nov. 16 event starts at 8 a.m. at The Grove, which is also the location of the Finish Line Festival. Cedars-Sinai Alumni Association Annual Business Meeting and Dinner - Dec. 3

6th Annual Emergency Medicine Symposium - Dec. 5

Emergency medicine physicians can continue to update their skills at this one-day course on Friday, Dec. 5, at the Four Season Hotel, 300 S. Doheny Drive. Neurovascular Disease Symposium 2009 - Jan. 10

This conference will present information on established and emerging treatment options for neurological disorders using plenary lectures and case presentations. 16th International Symposium on Pancreatic and Biliary Endoscopy - Jan. 23-25

This 16th annual teaching conference will be held in cooperation with three major endoscopy centers in North America and Europe. The course will be a comprehensive review of pancreatic and biliary endoscopy for gastroenterologists and gastroenterology fellows and nurses. Balanced viewpoints, special techniques and practical clinical approaches will be presented throughout the conference held in Harvey Morse Auditorium.
