ECG Viewing Enhancement

You can now view two EKGs simultaneously in Web/VS for comparison purposes.

To view multiple EKGs, follow these quick and easy steps:

  1. Log into Web/VS and select a patient in the usual way;
  2. Select "ECG and Echo" from the Reports menu OR display the "All Reports" listing by clicking the GO button to the right of the Reports menu, and then click "MUSE (EKG Tracings)" under Links to Other Systems;
  3. A list of hotlinks will display if the patient has any ECGs available;
  4. Click on the hotlink for the 1st ECG that you want to view;
  5. Click on the hotlink for the 2nd ECG that you wish to view (if needed, move the popup window containing the 1st ECG aside to view the list of hotlinks);
  6. Both ECGs will be displayed on the screen in separate popup windows. The popup windows can be arranged and resized.

NOTE: You can continue to click on other ECGs in the list if you wish - the two popup windows will always contain the two most recently selected ECGs.
