Sumeet S. Chugh, M.D., associate director of the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute and section chief of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, has been given The Pauline and Harold Price Chair in Cardiac Electrophysiology Research.

Research scientists at Cedars-Sinai's Maxine Dunitz Neurosurgical Institute have isolated stem-like cells in benign pituitary tumors and used these "mother" cells to generate new tumors in laboratory mice.
