First step in system upgrade begins July 1

Voice-recognition and web-based paging will be a step closer after a system upgrade scheduled this summer.

The new features will be optional and EIS will start rolling them out after the initial system switch on July 1. At that time, the only changes users will notice are differences in the voice prompts for entering pages.

 


A 'Click' Lunch

Plaza Café launches online order service

Lunch at the Plaza Café is now a mouse click away.

The restaurant has launched an online ordering system so you can order lunch anytime - just allow 30 minutes for it to be prepared. Food can be picked up between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The FDA recently updated the package inserts for multiple medications.

 


 

Beginning Monday, May 18, underground site utility work on Gracie Allen Drive at San Vicente Boulevard will begin. This work is necessary to meet future facilities demand and planning, and will include the laying of storm drains and underground utilities (sewer, gas and water lines) below Gracie Allen Drive.

Howard M. Sandler, M.D., chair of radiation oncology at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute, has been named the inaugural Ronald H. Bloom Family Chair Holder in Cancer Therapeutics.
