Flu Update

Free seasonal vaccinations available now

The seasonal influenza vaccine is now available at no cost to medical staff members.

The H1N1 vaccine will be available for physicians when Cedars-Sinai receives supplies from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Nurses from Employee Health Services will be rounding units and other patient care areas to offer the seasonal vaccine. You can also receive the vaccine from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) on the following dates:

  • Monday, Oct. 5, in MGB-Rehab (8:30 a.m. to noon and 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, Oct. 6, in MGB-Rehab (8:30 a.m. to noon and 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.)
  • Friday, Oct. 9, in Cafeteria Conference Room B
  • Wednesday, Oct. 14, in Davis Research Building (8 a.m. to noon)
  • Tuesday through Thursday, Oct. 20-22, at 6500 Wilshire (8:30 a.m. to noon)
  • Friday, Oct. 23, in Cafeteria Conference Room B
  • Monday, Oct. 26, in HMCC-6
  • Tuesday, Nov. 3, in HMCC-3
  • Friday, Nov. 20, in Cafeteria Conference Room B
  • Monday, Nov. 23, in HMCC-6
  • Wednesday, Dec. 23, in HMCC-3
  • Monday, Dec. 28, in HMCC-3

Vaccinations are also available at Employee Health Services on the second floor of the Steven Spielberg Building in Suite 200. Walk-ins are welcome. Employee Health is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., except the first Thursday of the month when the hours are 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
