FDA Proposes Withdrawal of Midodrine

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration proposed to withdraw marketing approval of midodrine, a drug used to treat low blood pressure. The administration also issued a "notice of opportunity for a hearing" to the companies that manufacture midodrine.

The Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute has opened an innovative 30-bed inpatient unit dedicated to providing advanced heart failure patients with an intensive, multidisciplinary approach to inpatient care. The unit on 6 South East formally opened late last month.
