Jan. 6 Reception for New OB/Gyn Chair

A welcome reception is planned for Sarah J. Kilpatrick, M.D., Ph.D., the new chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The event will be held on Thursday, Jan. 6, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Harvey Morse Auditorium, and medical staff members are invited to attend.

Strokes for the Stroke Program

Cedars-Sinai’s Stroke Program was recently awarded the prestigious Gold Plus Award from the American Heart Association for 24 consecutive months of compliance of the quality measures within the “Get with the Guidelines” Stroke Program. Sara Camp, RN (pictured center), AHA regional director of Quality Improvement, presents the award to David Palestrant, M.D., director of Neuro-Critical Care and the Stroke Program, and to Laurie Paletz, RN, program coordinator.
