Margie A. Morgan, Ph.D.

Margie A. Morgan, Ph.D., scientific director of Microbiology and associate professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cedars-Sinai, is now a certified diplomate of the American Board of Medical Microbiology (ABMM).

To earn the ABMM credential, Dr. Morgan first met rigorous educational and experiential eligibility requirements and then passed a comprehensive written examination.


Rick B. Delamarter, M.D.

Rick Delamarter, M.D., vice chair for Spine Services and co-medical director of the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center, gave four presentations at the 25th Annual North American Spine Society meeting in Orlando last month.

The presentations included: Results from the Prospective, Randomized, Multi-Center IDE Study of Two-Level ProDisc-L Randomized Patients vs. Continued Access Patients at Two Years; 24-Month Clinical and Radiographic Outcomes of Instrumented, Posterolateral Spinal Fusion from A Prospective, Randomized, Clinical Study; Prospective US IDE Trials: Interim Results for the Treatment of Symptomatic Lumbar Spinal Stenosis with Facet Replacement in 100 Patients Enrolled at 15 Centers; and Radiographic Analysis of the Lumbosacral Spine: Is there a Critical Sacral Angle for Total Disc Replacement?


Hyun Bae, M.D.

Dr. Bae, a surgeon at the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center specializing in minimally invasive microsurgery and treatment of cervical and lumbar spinal disease, also gave a presentation at the North American Spine Society Meeting.

He presented Correlation of Early Pain and Long-Term Functional Results from a Multi-Center, Prospective, Randomized, Controlled FDA-IDE Vertebroplasty Trial.
