An Expanding Circle

More than 300 physicians honored by the Circle of Friends

More than 300 donations were made to Cedars-Sinai’s Circle of Friends program in honor of physicians last year. In November, many of those honorees gathered for a celebration at the Capital Grille.

The Circle of Friends program allows grateful patients to make a donation in honor of the physicians, nurses, caregivers and others who have made a difference during their time at Cedars-Sinai. When a gift is made, the person being honored receives a custom lapel pin and a letter of acknowledgement.

Since its start in 2009, Circle of Friends has honored 352 physicians, 71 nurses and 60 other Cedars-Sinai staff, some multiple times.

(l-r) Drs. Robert Klapper, John Harold, Allan Silberman and Leslie Memsic were among those honored at the 2010 event.
