MEC Bylaws Update

Cedars-Sinai’s medical staff must completely rewrite its constitution and bylaws to meet new Joint Commission requirements that go into effect on March 31, 2011.

Among the initial changes, the constitution is being renamed “the bylaws” to meet a Joint Commission requirement. E-mail chiefofstaff@cshs.org to provide your feedback.


All Department Chairs as Voting Members of the MEC

Presently, the department chairs for Neurology and Radiation Oncology are non-voting members of the Medical Executive Committee. The following language would make them voting members like all other department chairs.
