Statin labeling changes

Pharmacy focus

Changes to labeling for the statin drug class have been recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The major updates to the drug labels include the removal of routine liver enzyme monitoring and addition of information regarding possible non-serious and reversible cognitive side effects. The Ray Charles Cafeteria has extended its hours to accommodate this weekend's CS-Link™ go-live. On Friday, it will stay open one hour later until 1 a.m. On Saturday, the cafeteria will open two hours earlier at 4 a.m.
