Annual Medical Student Reception set for Oct. 23

All medical staff members are invited to attend the annual Arthur I. Johnson, MD, Medical Student Reception on Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Harvey Morse Auditorium.

Each fall, Cedars-Sinai hosts this event to introduce students from local medical schools to the array of training opportunities at the medical center. Cedars-Sinai is committed to attracting a diverse group of medical trainees and all interested students are encouraged to attend this event.

The event includes dinner followed by a panel discussion of Cedars-Sinai's training opportunities, campus facilities and mission.

The annual reception is named after Johnson, a member of the medical staff for more than three decades who passed away in 2007. Johnson was the first physician in the history of Cedars-Sinai to hold all elected offices of the medical staff during his career, including two terms as Chief of Staff in 1998 and 1999.

Please RSVP by Oct. 15 by emailing david.allen@cshs.org or calling (310) 423-2126.
