MedExpo aimed at community physicians

Cedars-Sinai Health Associates members get 50 percent discount

Physician Sales & Services is hosting a medical expo focused on helping physicians increase revenue, decrease costs and work more efficiently. The expo is planned for Thursday, Oct. 11, at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Seminars, some of which are eligible for continuing education credits, start at 8 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. Seminar topics include how to offer the kind of customer service that keeps clients coming back, how to improve the profitability of your practice, the how-tos of point-of-care testing, and how to maintain OSHA compliance. Lunch, which is served from noon to 1 p.m., is free. Cedars-Sinai Health Associates members are eligible for a 50 percent discount to any of the seminars. Registration is required for all seminars.

A product expo and reception will take place in the exhibition hall from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. More than 40 vendors will be present. Food and drink will be served, and prizes given away.

Between 4 p.m.and 7 p.m., Cedars-Sinai Health Associates (CSHA) will be hosting a hospitality room for current and interested physician members. Physician leaders and management will be on hand to answer questions about topics like Medi-Medi, risk contracts and accountable care at Cedars-Sinai. CSHA also will have a table at the product expo to answer question about membership.

Register online at www.PSSMedExpo.com. On-site registration for the expo begins at 7:30 a.m. The SLS Hotel is at 465 S. La Cienega Blvd.
