CS-Link Tip: Pregnancy Sticky Notes

This week's CS-Link™ tip comes from Sarah Beauchamp, an ultrasound tech in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A feature called "pregnancy sticky notes" has been enabled in CS-Link for outpatient physicians. Previously, this feature was available only to inpatient physicians.

Clinical Documentation Course Continues July 7

Participants Can Earn Two Continuing Medical Education Credits

Members of the medical staff can take a "Clinical Documentation Integrity Power Course for Physicians" that meets the first Tuesday of each month through Dec. 1. The July 7 session takes place from from 3:30-6:30 p.m. in Harvey Morse 4-5. Participants need to attend just one session. Two continuing medical education credits will be available.

Deadline for Clinician Scholars Program Is Sept. 1

Cedars-Sinai plans to participate in the new National Clinician Scholars Program, which is building on the legacy of the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program. The new program, according to an official description, "offers unique clinical and community-based research training through intensive mentorship for clinicians as change agents driving policy-relevant research and partnerships to improve health and healthcare." The admission deadline is Sept. 1

Sim Center Accredited After Less Than 2 Years

Just 19 months after opening, the Cedars-Sinai Women's Guild Simulation Center for Advanced Clinical Skills has received full accreditation from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSIH). This designation places Cedars-Sinai among an elite group of institutions in the U.S. to have earned the endorsement of the SSIH, the acknowledged leader in the oversight of simulation in healthcare.
