Engagement Survey Open Until April 30

The annual Engagement Survey is now open, and leaders are encouraging staff to maintain Cedars-Sinai's reputation as one of the best places to work by voicing their opinions through the brief, confidential questionnaire.

An email link to the survey was sent to all staff on April 10. It is accessible at cedars-sinai.edu/employeesurvey via computer, tablet or smartphone. The survey closes April 30.

"Your candid feedback is a critical element in helping us to create a workplace that inspires you to do your best work," said Thomas M. Priselac, president and CEO. "We count on each of you every day to help our organization be a leader in providing high-value, patient-centered care."

The survey opens on the heels of a recent win for Cedars-Sinai — named the Advisory Board's 2017 Workplace of the Year. The Advisory Board is an independent, international healthcare consulting and research firm. The organization recognized Cedars-Sinai and announced the award at a March 30 summit. The Advisory Board also partners with Cedars-Sinai to conduct the annual Engagement Survey.

"We're honored to have received such a prestigious designation and are committed to being a leading employer," said Andy Ortiz, senior vice president of Human Resources and Organization Development. "Only with your feedback can we maintain a fulfilling work environment where our staff feels engaged, valued and recognized."

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. Organizational results will be published in The Bridge and Since You Asked.

"The survey only takes a few minutes, but provides us with invaluable insight," Ortiz said, adding that in healthcare organizations, higher engagement scores correlate with increased patient satisfaction.

"Take advantage of this important opportunity to share your open, candid feedback so that we can, together, create the foundation for our continued success," said Ortiz.
