Badge Buddies Required Through April 15

All physicians and volunteers, must continue to display their current influenza badge buddies through April 15, per guidelines from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

Although instances of flu have declined nationally and locally, current activity remains relatively high. As a result, the county has extended the duration of its mandate requiring health care workers to be vaccinated or wear masks.

If you received a flu vaccination, please continue to visibly display your current green badge buddy. If you have a gray badge buddy (indicating an approved medical exemption or religious accommodation), please continue to wear a mask in all patient care areas.

Flu vaccines are being provided to eligible patients, and visitors with colds or respiratory infections are being urged to refrain from visiting the medical center.

Staff with a fever or symptoms of an influenza-like illness should not provide patient care and should stay home from work.
