Department welcomes incoming general surgery, urology and orthopedic surgery residents

By Ali Salim, MD, FACS
Program Director, General Surgery Residency Educational Program

The Department of Surgery would like to extend a warm welcome to all of the incoming surgical residents. Our five general surgery residents are joined by the second class of urology residents and the brand new class of orthopedic residents.

I have no doubt that this outstanding group of 11 residents will represent the department well. They have brought a high level of enthusiasm that is already palpable throughout the medical center.

Again, please join me in welcoming these outstanding young individuals to Cedars-Sinai and the Department of Surgery.
