Clinical Information System Update

Take Time to Rate the Clinical Information Systems

By John G. Harold, M.D., & William W. Brien, M.D.
Co-Chairs, Physician Advisory Team, Clinical System Selection

The Clinical Information System vendor demonstration sessions we announced in the June 22 issue of Pulse are quickly approaching, and we urge your attendance and feedback.

Based on medical staff comments during the April demonstration series, we have located these sessions in the Pro Tower (on the 5th floor between the North and South Towers) for easier access and are providing a greater window of opportunity for attendance. These drop-in sessions are designed to offer both demonstrations and a hands-on experience at the desktop. Those who attend will be able to personally touch, test and rate the systems based on practice needs specific to working in the Cedars-Sinai environment.

Drop in any time and stay as long as you like, to touch, test and rate the systems.

All demonstrations are located in Room 5329
(On the 5th floor between the North and South Towers)

July 17: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
July 18: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
July 19: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
July 20: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you at the sessions. Your feedback and that of a broad spectrum of our medical staff are imperative to making the best decision -- a decision that will have a significant impact on each of us for many years to come.
