3rd Annual Run for Her 5K Run and Friendship Walk - Sunday, Nov. 11

The 3rd Annual Run for Her 5K, which supports ovarian cancer research at Cedars-Sinai, will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, beginning at 8 a.m. at the medical center. Proceeds benefit the Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Research Institute, part of the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. The registration fee is $40 on race day. Orthopaedic Aspects of the Growing Child - Saturday, Nov. 17

This course will highlight orthopaedic problems commonly encountered by primary care physicians -- pediatricians/family and general practitioners. Bioethics Noon Conference - Wednesday, Nov. 21

The Center for Healthcare Ethics will present "Ethics in Practice: Past Lessons & Future Aspirations" at its Bioethics Noon Conference on Wednesday, Nov. 21, in Harvey Morse Auditorium from 12 to 1 p.m. Lunch will be available at 11:30 a.m. The guest speaker is Stuart G. Finder, Ph.D., director of the Center for Healthcare Ethics at Cedars-Sinai.

5th Annual Emergency Medicine Symposium - Friday, Dec. 7

This conference will offer a practical update on emergency medicine for emergency and primary care physicians, as well as other clinical professionals who are involved in emergency room care. The conference will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, at the Four Seasons Hotel, located at 300 S. Doheny Drive. Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac CT Symposium - Jan. 25-27, 2008
