Protect patients from harm by getting a flu shot

You wouldn't knowingly harm a patient. Yet many physicians put patients at risk each year by not getting their flu vaccination.

A number of research studies have demonstrated a correlation between unvaccinated healthcare workers and an increase in influenza-related patient mortality rates. And even though many healthcare workers believe they are protected from the flu through infection control measures, such as hand washing, nearly one in four of them shows serologic evidence of flu exposure even during a mild flu season.

Be sure to protect yourself and our patients from getting the flu. Physicians can receive a free flu shot at the following flu clinics.
