Short Survey About Serious Illness Communication Skills

In July 2019, the Cedars-Sinai Medical Executive Committee (MEC) appointed a new task force to address the topic of Serious Illness Communication Skills. The task force includes broad representation from across the institution, including physicians on medical staff, nursing, case management, social work, chaplaincy, healthcare ethics and medical affairs.

The purpose of the task force is to provide recommendations that, when enacted, will ensure that clinicians have the necessary comfort and competency with serious illness conversations so every patient with advanced, life-limiting illness receives goal concordant care.

To aid us in this effort, we would be grateful if you would take quick, 2-3 minute anonymous survey so that we can better understand our current state.
