Association for Women in Science Monthly Coffee Hour – Jan. 14

Everyone interested in promoting women in science is invited to this monthly coffee meeting, which takes place the second Tuesday of each month from 4-5 p.m. in Davis 1004.

Sixth Annual Symposium on Neurovascular Disease – Jan. 25

This conference provides neurologists, neurosurgeons, internists, family practitioners and vascular surgeons, as well as allied healthcare professionals, new neurovascular data and the opportunity to discuss challenging clinical cases. Renowned regional and national faculty will present and discuss both traditional and cutting-edge treatments and management strategies. 13th Annual Symposium on Current Concepts in Spinal Disorders – Jan. 30-Feb. 1

The symposium will focus on current treatment methodology, new and emerging technologies and controversies in spine care management. The faculty will be composed of internationally recognized experts who will present lectures focused on healthcare reform, innovations in spine surgeries, biologics and stem cells, minimally invasive surgeries, motion preservation, complications and controversies, and deformities and pain management. Liver Tumors: New Technologies and New Managements – Feb. 15-16

This conference is intended for surgical oncologists, gastroenterologists, surgeons, primary care physicians and all other healthcare professionals who treat patients with primary or metastatic liver tumors. In addition to lecture format presentations, the course will include debate and panel discussions, question and answer sessions, case discussions and interactive video presentations.
